About The Members
Elizabeth “Lizzie” Walsh (Vocals/Percussion) always had a passion for singing. Picked for solos in her school’s choir, she toured Europe singing the iconic song “Fame”. Lizzie sang in a variety of bands in the tri-state area, noteworthy being E&E Blues and Tattoo Blue. She developed original songwriting skills while learning piano, flute and music theory. Lizzie gained notoriety with powerful auditions for Amateur Night at the Apollo, The X-Factor and The Voice. She is proud to front her beloved band, The Revelators, and draws from the influences of Etta James and Ann Wilson. To Lizzie, music is a transcendent form that helps spread love, light and great experiences for all to enjoy.
Nicholas Morales
(Guitar/Vocals) has been a full-time musician for the past seven and a half years. He’s been with The Revelators just as long. Nicholas’ guitar solo work can be heard on the track “Jazz that Funk” on Mark Adams’ debut album “Asceticism.” Nicholas is also currently with Lady Picture Show, a N.Y.C. based female-fronted Stone Temple Pilots tribute band and Cover2Cover, a Long Island based party rock band.
Ken Loeffler (Guitar/Vocals) has been in love with playing the guitar since he was 15 years old. For the last five decades Ken has performed with Top 40, Blues, Tribute and Classic Rock bands. Early influences were Eric Clapton, Leslie West and Dickey Betts. One of the highlights of Ken's playing career was performing at Woodstock's 46th anniversary event in Bethel, N.Y. Ken's well-rounded guitar work and intense solos have led him to become a key focus of any Revelators show!
John Bellon, Jr., a.k.a. “Johnny B.” (Drums/Vocals) has been playing in bands for over four decades. He cut his rock ’n roll teeth on the New York City club circuit back in 1979, frequently playing clubs like Max’s Kansas City, CBGB’s and The Great Gildersleeves. John toured the U.S. as an opening act for Blood, Sweat and Tears and made three T.V. appearances on Star Search with the band Shoot the Doctor. He has several indie cd’s to his credit, most notably the heavy-metal band Phantom and singer/songwriter George Usher. To John, being a member of the Revelators is something very special!
Eugene “Gene” Werner (Bass/Vocals) is a Queens-born bass player who enjoyed the ‘low-end’ of music from 16 years of age. His former bands are Dirty Looks, Some Nerve, Alien Ventriloquist, Mika, There & Back, and Outtahand. Recording standout is the release of the Some Nerve single “Gina” b/w “Believe in a Lie” (Orange Records). Gene says, “Performing with the Revelators is a blast and continues to help me as a musician. Shout-outs to Mick James at Beneath the Sun Studios, the Dominicks at Deville Video, and all our followers ... Peace, Love & Music people!"
